Communicates with physicians, nurses and other staff about patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in the patient's condition.
Additionally, is cross-trained to perform general nursing duties in other departments.
Six months of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current Louisiana RN license and current CPR certification required.
Departmental Requirements are as follows:
Med/Surg/ICU - ACLS, PALS, BLS ER- TNCC, ENPC or PALS required or obtained within the first year of employment.
Surgery- Nothing additional required at this time.
